Deep in the depths of the ocean, there are enormous creatures from ancient forgotten days. The humans knew this, hence why they waited until the creatures had buried themselves before exploring the oceans.
Except they miscalculated.
The stories say that before the great Lighthouse was built, a young fisherman had decided to take his boat out farther than anyone else had before him. He wanted to catch the strongest fish in the hopes that he could be known as the 'best fisherman'. Growing up, he had heard from his grandfather and father was to stay within sight of the town. The problem with that is everyone else fished within that zone as well, so how could he become the best?
No, he decided to sail out just as the village became a small speck. He threw out his nets and waited. And waited. For hours he waited patiently, checking his nets every so often. Finally, as the sun began to set and the cold air began to work its way into his bones, he felt a tug in the nets in his hands. He pulled with all his might and in turn was pulled into the ocean!
The young fisherman couldn't believe it, in front of him was the LARGEST fish he'd ever seen. It's eyes were bigger than his chest and when it opened its mouth, the teeth were as long as his legs. He thought for certain he was going to die when he looked into its gaping mouth. He started to pray that his death would be quick and painless but the fish didn't move.
The man opened his eyes and saw that the fish had actually dragged him back to shore using the net! He thought it odd, but didn't argue with it. He just thanked the fish and ran home to tell his wife the unbelieveable story...

I actually think your normal work is more sketchy then this. Despite this the art is absolutely incredible.

AMAZING! Reminds me of awesome deep sea fishies. And I looooove deep sea fishies. Theres also something kinda mechanical about it that makes me think of Clanker from Banjo Kazooie...only scarier.

Yep, it's supposed to be more mechanical... the eye was supposed to be kind of like a lens shutter, but I don't think I managed it well enough.
