Description A little painting/drawing I did for my Finnish family. It's a surprise present and I mail it out tomorrow. >.> They mentioned that a reindeer dragon might be cool. My brain kinda turned it into a reindeer... lion... dragon... thing... though. XD

...and this is why I don't draw bodies on anything. Ever. Because I stink at anatomy. XD

This is quite a handsome fellow. You draw the coolest beasties... And man. This thing is HUUUUUGE. I see those dinky little trees down there. XD If I saw this creature sitting atop a mountain near my town, I'd likely fall over in a panic, and then try to figure out if I should admire it or run.

Really, though. Awesome creature. *pokes his nose*

Methinks the anatomy works well actually. It's unusual and fantastic, yeah, but its 'correct' enough that it looks like the creature could exist in real life. (The neck kinda reminds me of Brahman cattle for some reason? I know those are humps, not thick necks. But yeah)

I like the green, too. It looks like his eyes are emitting light particles that are floating around in the fog around him. :3 Gives it a cool mystical feel.

I was gonna say the body does look a tad heavyset, but it's still better than anything I can do (drawing bodies is my weakest point. I just stick to abstract environments if anything. ) I do like tho concept and the pose though. And once again you leave me envious of your smooth lines.

Glad you think the lines are smooth. I was kinda upset while doing this because the pens I was using were so old they kept giving my horrible jagged lines.

I like this a lot, I dunno why but it seems to have quite a human position but with animal anatomy which is confusing but cool all the same.
