Description
First Illustration i did on the legendaries, well it's something till the June 2nd update on pokemon sun and moon. It's the battle of night vs day. Solgaleo trying desperately to make sure people and pokemon see another day while Lunaala wants to make it internal darkness. I made Solgaleo's mustache into flames while Lunaala charges up for a moonblast.Pokemon © by Nintendo ©2016 GameFreak and Creatures Inc. is no way associated with those respective companies as this is a design project purely for entertainment and creativity.

Amazing! I love the shading ^.^ I don't know which game I'd pick! Solgaleo is magnificent and majestic, but I'm not a person who likes Fire legendaries much. Lunaala is beautiful an elegant, but it's design is a little much... Halp meeee ;-;

the moon legendary look a little like a crecelia and the lion like the leo from x/y gen

To be completely honest with myself, I don't see why so many people like Lunaala way more than Solgaleo. I just don't like Lunaala's rigid design... it looks like debris imo. Solgaleo has every aspect I believe it needed and beyond to represent the sun, as well as an appearance that makes it really feel like an ethereal deity instead of the International Space Station.

Well, for me at least, night/moon has always represented something mysterious/unholy and Lunaala has those aspects. It has a mysterious design and no one is entirely sure as to what of is it based off or how its body works etc. Whilst day/sun has represented something that is holy/clear (in a sense that everything is illuminated, everything is visible - if that makes sense haha) and Solgaleo also has those aspects in his design. But I'm always in for the mystery and for the aspect of ''darkness'', since I do believe that Lunaala has a great legend/myth which it has been based off of. Also, I am curious as to how Lunaala's body actually works and what kind of typing it is, what kind of powers does it possess etc.
