Edited to add: If you look closely - you'll see all people below the little fairy and fishy -- i opted to leave them in because they added a surreal factor to the piece that I liked....
they are difficult to make out at first - but then you can see them - that's why I liked it. Someone suggested I take it out because it looks odd...... I like it this way. That's why art is so subjective -- what's me may not be you and vice versa.
Sorry if it's too strange for you.
Today I feel like this -- like a little (or not so little) fish out of water. The castle is right there within reach - but just not quite there yet....
I like to think that the little fairy and fishy can make it without a problem.... the same goes for me too.

I thought those little people were trees! I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of surrealism, I'm sort of picky about what styles I like, however I enjoy your take on it. I like that the girl is a pop of color, drawing the focus to her. My only complaint is that I can't view it larger-I have terrible eyesight. I want to see the beauty close up!

I love the idea in 'Little Fish Out Of Water' of the giant fairy. Why should fairies necessarily be tiny ? I love to write and in my stories I try to come up with these sort of ideas, turning traditions on their heads. Brilliant! And a beautiful picture, to boot

Hehe well I learned in my Mythology class that people used to believe faeries were giant creatures so it wouldn't be too surprising to see tiny little people below a big faerie.
