This is ~BornSecond 's October birthday's request.I draw his OC Arcia The Shadow.
I want to make a sorrow background and you can see what happen. Sunny day~! Duh.It because I enjoying drawing the leaves there and totally forgot what I planned earlier.
Hoho, I also apply a different style of shading there on his clothes.

Yeah,I could feel the sorrowness in it.The background and the character is done nicely.Probably would look awesome-er if you used pens with different size though.

it's striking, but you can improve by placing the character off-focus. keeping him by the side will make him more interesting. and you can enhance perspective by making the foreground with bolder lines.

I got what you mean, when I look back it really as what you said.
I do make differ width of the background..seems it look the same..because I use 0.1 and 0.2. hahaha..Thank you again.

hehe, you're one of the few who like critique, lol
i also realized the difference between 0.1 and 0.2 is hardly noticeable.. expecially if the artpiece is bigger than A5... so usually it's more flexible if you skip the numbers. i always go with only 0.2, 0.5 and 0.6 XD

yeah..! oh, but they use real inking pens over there. i once bought one, then the inking was so horrible it looked like thrash... i wonder how they ink with those pens...
