he doesn't always rely on sea creatures... he has his strength n speed too... and an indestructible trident...

That has nothing to do with being "gay". In any case, he's still useful on land. His skin is durable enough to withstand the pressures of deep, meaning he's bullet proof, and arguably as strong as Superman. Even if he wasn't useful on land, he's the ONLY useful one in the water which inhabits 75% of our planet. There's nothing useless about Aquaman.

OK fair enough on him, but the first Aqualad was pathetic he quit the Teen Titans cause he felt more useless then Roy cause he couldn't be on land for more then an hour. So Aquaman is cool, his wife is hot, but his sidekick lame as hell. I mean I wanna be a superhero but the catch is I can only be on land for an hour, how pathetic is that?

I'm not saying he's 100% lame, I mean I've read some of his comics, I mean he's had some tragedy in his life I mean when he lost his hand he lost his son. And he has lasted like a good 15 minutes in a fight with Superman and 15 minutes is better then 5 seconds with a guy who can move planets.
