This one is hands down one of my faves of yours...
question though, and I hope this doesn't come out the wrong way or morbidly ignorant... but the wreckage in the middle right hand side edge... I've seen that in a couple of your other pieces... was that created from pics of the WTC wreckage? It's an odd question, I know, but I had to ask!

too be honest I don't know where that actually originated from.... I tend to combine custom brushes over and over until I find a solution I like. I do reference a-lot of destruction pics for noise in my big epic paintings...so it is possible.

Oh my God, this is incredible! Really well done...another one of those pieces that instantly makes you feel something. It's sad and terrifying, all at once. Excellent details all over the place...you can lose yourself in it for quite a while.
