Permission for what? Tracing fan art? I'm not claiming ownership, nor am I selling/profiting. And when I know the original source, I put it in the description. This person posted a link to an ifunny image.

I'm not saying you can't do it. You may not be claiming them as your own, but asking permission to do so would be polite. Many artists are uncomfortable with people copying their art.
