I saw a manga scan a while ago, can't remember where, or if it's even up still, but Dan seemed to be the normal size for a baby, but a looked like a blob.
In the same scan, it showed Bobby crawling out, and he bit off Jennifer's father's hand.

I actually ended up reading more about the story after my comment, yeah apparently the huge baby form is a living womb made of corpses, so now everything makes more sense! ^_^
