I didn't know they were making it for XBLA! I wish SF4 had more original and less reused characters like this one did.

Yeah, same here. That's the reason why SF3 is my favorite series of SF.

The best Street Fighter in my opinion. I love the urban street vibe the game has. Very fitting for "Street" Fighter.

You've played 3rd strike? It's my favorite as well. Can't wait to get better at it!

Yeah, I own it. What's the deal with the new one? Is it the game game but online?

It has slightly more HD graphics, unlockable content and new game modes. I mostly want it because I find the 360 controllers to be more comfortable than the dreamcast one, so I might actually be able to get better at playing. : P

I'm sure it will, seems to be a faithful port, just with a lot of extras!

Eh, I don't think they play similarly at all, except for using electricity. Blanka uses charges for many of his moves(like holding back, then pressing forward and a punch to roll...etc.) and overall he's more of a "direct" player to use. Necro has to build up momentum to use his moves well, and he's definitely trickier to use.

Yeah, and one-note characters like Ryu, Ken, Yun, and Akuma are overpowered.

I liked SF3 because it broke the mold, and it was more challenging, but the character favoring sure is annoying. It seems like anyone can be good at SF4, it's too easy and prone to being cheap and turtling.

Perhaps. I guess I wasn't a fan on how Street Fighter played in the first place. It's kinda why I grew to like Virtua Fighter, strategies are complicated, the game is challenging, and the character favoring is much less obvious, and even then most of the higher tiered characters are very complex to use even compared to others (Akira being the best example, utterly frustrating to use for a newbie, utterly destructive in the hands of a master).
