I have to say, this is certainly one of the cleverest pictures I've seen lately. The relatively basic colouring method you've used belies the sophisticated perspective and lighting techniques you've implemented, which more importantly captures the feel of the game with surprising effectiveness.
Helps that I'm currently playing through DS1 at the moment for the bazillionth time!
