Yeah, the new earring is much better - the old one was like 'what are those random white blob things...?' and worse, because it was quite white and sitting on a black background, it drew a load of attention! So I completely changed the shape and shading, but also the colour - so that the focus on the earring is secondary to the focus on the face.

I'm so glad you think I'm improving. It seems achingly slow but redrawing stuff usually makes me feel better
