Thank you! She was a beautiful bird.

She was always a bit of an unhealthy bird, never got within a safe weight range, never ate anything other than seeds, always very thin. But she was still energetic and lively as ever, so we never knew anything was going wrong. But she had been lacking in a lot of calcium, to the point where her bones hardly existed. I had her out of her cage and was playing with her when she somehow broke a wing, twisted her keel (chest bone in birds), and shattered her hip. We got her to the vet and they gave her painkillers until she passed away.

It was sad, and I still feel so guilty about it.

how sad : ( I remember the first budgie we had for one year, she were sick, and it was so painfull to see. She just slept the whole day. : (
