Description Sparcoil's Phoenixdex Entry

Quirky little devil based on the legends of Spring-Heeled Jack, because I can.

...I have no idea how the hell its legs actually work, by the way. I'm a student of the *~IT'S POKÉMON~* magical distracting handwave school of anatomy.

Pokémon (c) Nintendo, Sparcoil (c) me.

Bunched-up leg muscles - possibly cartillage instead of bone, much like a hamster's back (though that may be slightly wrong, I'm no expert) that stores kinetic energy and released like a coiled spring.

Oh, and it's pokemon great job!

Heh, maybe! More thought than I ever put into it, honestly. Thanks!

I think fleas have a similar mechanism in their legs (a structure that stores kinetic energy like a coiled spring).

I do like imagining how things would live and act biologically even if it is only with pokemon but hey, if I can't manage it, it's good to know there's always the 'a wizard did it!' defense
