Overall

Vision

Originality

Technique

Impact

There are different ways of shooting. There are the shots done and the works conducted after on it.
And there are these (becoming) rare shots where the photograph has managed to trigger purposely with a vision, and a meaning, a proposal.
I just love the way the water has been so crytal clear captured, fragmented against the concrete shore, while there is this person, at the background, with a so dreamy rendering.
Technically, it is perfect, as I don't doubt there was a lot of light but anyway: an ideal triggering speed to get the sparkles of water, and an aperture giving a narrow depth of field, deserving properly the vision and the way the artist is making of his shot a sublime artwork.
Thanks a lot for this excellent piece of photography, which is inspiring, and pushes humble amateurs like me to always think and rethink, work to get appropriate results. Well done!

First of all, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such an elaborate critique for my photo; that itself means so much to me. You took your time to emphasize even small details, and for that I am grateful. Second, wow, Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm very happy and flattered by your thoughts! And just so you know; it really makes a difference to hear this, no matter the content of the critique as long as it is fair, so keep up the Awesome work you do and help others achieve what I did; knowledge and experience to do better next time
The very best,
Sebastian

Fantastic job with the lighting, the figure in the background is blurred but still stands out so dramatically. Also I love the choice to go black and white! Beautiful photo.
