which filter did you use for this awesome shot? is it the hoya r72?

It is indeed a Hoya R72. The cheapest and the best infrared filter, as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the fave, Chris.

That is how I usually am at my keyboard. Glass of wine on the go. Only thing is, I pour it down my throat, not onto my keyboard....What are you like????

It was an aaaaaaaaaaccident...It was supposed to go into my throat. Can you imagine how dry my throat felt...?

I am going to fav this because I am so bored with it!
Pleaseeeeeeeee, this is amazing.
I love the blue hues and the brightness of the white snow. This is a really pretty picture. I could look at this one for ages. It would look nice in my livingroom!

Gottcha!! This is actually an IR shot, so there is no snow just green grass. We have had no snow at all in the UK. I am just getting into infrared, and this is one of my better attempts. Thanks for the fave.

Thanks a lot for the fave, Shelly. Always a buzz to get one off you. I bracketed round this by a couple of seconds a time, but they all turned out roughly the same. Just shows, if you have the right conditions for IR it is not that difficult after all.

Well I hope I have the same luck later today. Right now we have freezing fog but it is going to be sunny later they say. But they always say that.

Get out there in the sun and shoot some IR. Iam dying to see what they look like. It seems every camera comes out with different colours, and I want to see what yours does.

I've had a little help with the white balance so I am hoping that I come up with something good tonight on the way home. If so I will post something tonight.

I have a choice this month of new boots or an IR filter. Every time I see these great shots I think, To hell with the boots.

An IR filter costs about £27. What kind of shite boots are you wearing....You bloody cheapskate.

Actually apart from my work shoes I only wear walking boots due to an old war injury and they cost about a £100. My current pair are held together with masking tape and I look like the local pikey.
Now my work shoes are different.... I only use them for the office and grumble if I have to pay more than £8 for them.
