Description Made this in 2000, it was a school task.
We were supposed to do it with charcoal, but I refused since I just couldn't get it right and didn't feel good about my work.
And I have never been that good with taking orders
I got a good grade on this anyway.

If this was drawn on Grapite Paper, then I am amazed by this work. Its good.

The mark fo the artist is definitely prominent in this sketching; I won't comment on the shadow because I've never noticed shoe shadows; but the creasing of the boot is certainly well done; the soles are good, although not as realistic as the upper part of the boot; the lace holders are very well done - they have that shine to them which certainly is prominent; The opening of the boot is also realistically captured.

Well done! Add a little more shine to the soles (or alternatively darken them slightly) and this is a really well done sketch. Good work.

and you're totally right, the soles needs more work to look realistic
i guess when i got down to that part, i was a little tired and didnt have the energy to do it properly haha.
but i will definitely have that in mind for when i might re-do this
