wow! I love how the shadow runs through the model's body, her hands could be more relaxed though

Besides the obvious things (such as the model is absolutely gorgeous and that her shape, form, and pose fit perfectly with the serenity of the peaceful ocean), I love the coloring here. It all kind of blends together smoothly around the few highlights like her hair and the water. The lighting is perfect. The only thing I would have looked at doing differently would be to try the same shot just a few minutes before and after to see how a tiny bit more light on her skin or a tiny bit less would look. This definitely is a good picture as is though.
However, I'm not a huge fan of the blur. It may just be me, but I think it would look better if the majority of the foreground, not just the girl, was in focus. If you have something in focus in the foreground, a little blur is okay, but in moderation. I do like the blur on the ocean, but I would have made the window panel sticking out a little more focused. Its fine to keep that blurred, just not as strong as you have it. Just my opinion.
Also, two questions. One, under her right arm, about halfway between her wrist and elbow, the lighting looks a little odd to me. Was that a mistake in whatever application you used to blur the background, or is it just an odd shadow? Same thing with the blur on the water closer to her leg.
And two, what caused that weird shadow on the lower right-hand corner of the wood?

First off, its a lovely pic. It doesn't NEED anything. But if I were gonna OCD tweak away: Lighting could be a bit more zone-al and less contrasty. Might try film rahter than digital, esp down near the feet; hard, hard! in beach sun!
I might punch up here eyes rather a lot, for fun.
its a wee bit soft in back and her right arm one or the other but it doesn't feel balanced to me when looking at it for a long time.

Lovely. Just a superb use of light to create the mood. Allowing the shadow to bisect her in half is surprisingly effective--I wouldn't have predicted that (and I shoot a lot of shadow/light pattern themes). Composition is impressive (with the model's pose forming a diagonal) and the color is quite nice, especially with the dreamy feel from the DoF. Well done.

Her position and the cast of lighting is beautiful. The colors are inviting. My only complaint is that the blur comes off a bit too heavy, taking away from the naturalism of the photo. Beautiful!

The colors are fantastic. I would have loved to see a more relaxed pose from the model to give some of that morning easy going feel that you have expressed with her slightly messed up hair, but I do love the strong diagonal. It doesn't seem to fit the relaxed feel of a morning though, since a diagonal is more energized but it was a nice strong pose and it helps the views gaze fly across the photo.
The light shining on her body helps distinct that strong pose, and it helps the viewer's eye go up her body. I do love how the light bends and sends the viewers eye out towards the view. Since the light now has that strong diagnal in that direction. That darn wooden thing blocking the water is what I really don't like about the piece.
It blocks the view, and visually it adds nothing to the composition. It unbalances the entire piece, so if it was even bent at another angle it would be much pleasing visually.
Overall nice job but I see a lot of improvements that could have been done. Technically its a nice piece, but emotionally it could be improved on.

nice pic... i'm not sure at all of the blur... your work always is flawless, but, in this case... seems a little clumsy... the scene y perfect and maybe the blur could make it gone bad... It's just an oppinion... by the way, you've awesome pieces of work

Man I don't know how you do it but it is simply amazing.
I love how the shadowed portion of her looks poised with intent where as the sunlit portion looks like it is waking for the first time, still drowsy and uncertain.
The smooth blend of the background that adds to the idea of learning something new, slowly understanding that which is before us.
It is like an awakening.

Very beautiful photo and model.
The lighting gives a nice warmth to the skin and still leaves enough shadow to the body and face to leave some mysteriousness.
There is a glare in the window, which then made me wonder what exactly is she looking at.
Only complaint I would have is that the pose looks uncomfortable and unnatural.
Other than that, very nicely done!
