that is what art should do - make you think! Great work! Superb composition!

Wow, your work has really created quite a stir, it's amazing to see the plethora of reactions to it, you could seriously do an entire showing based on the reactions alone! I'd say job well done, just for the comments issued! What is the purpose of art, but to make people question...I truly am sorry to see so many negative ones, but the positive seem to balance it out.

Quite interesting, she looks like a ghost. Something about the chair doesn't seem to work right with the overall effect, but nonetheless a great photo.

This picture has such an impact for having so little contrast, and such a soft overtone. I love how the model's skin is akin to the background, yet the careful choice of lighting makes her stand out on her own. Her hair and the chair she's dangling off of are about the same color, and I think that helps tie the whole composition together.

Beautiful stuff! Keep it up!

This photo makes me feel quite sad , so pale and so lifeless , to me it represents death , yet her body is un such an un-natural position only formed by the likes of the living . Its almost twisted and frightful , but with elegance and not gore.
Such stories can derive from one photo , simply amazing .

Many regards , Coco

depressing, I get the feeling that this is the point of the piece. so much art is focused on making bringing the asthetic out of the macabre.
Peoples reactions to the thin-ness of the model are understandable. She is clearly very thin, whether she is unwell is between her and her physician. We can guess and discuss but we aren't here to judge since we don't know all the facts. She looks dead and her arm looks broken but I feel this is also intentional. This is a diliberately provoking piece, I would be interested in knowing the artists intentions. Is there a moral message behind the piece.. is it glorifying or villifying the models percieved "state" or is the point just to dispassionately observe it.

I feel that this is intended to say more about the audience than the subject itself. To me it is a piece intended to see how long people will call something beautiful, even if the subject is damaged beyond all hope of life. We see an image of the societally "idealised" woman (slim.. delicate ... naked) fallen from her pedastool dead and we're all here still talking about how beautiful "it" is.

with that in mind I like it as its really worked

but thats just me
