well after i reformatted my box i realized there were a few things that didn't get backed up like they should have, my projects and art in the works. namely... epic mk. 2 [link]i lost all of the working *psp's and *ps's for the past 3 months... and epic mk 2 was no exception.
SO... here is the last development snapshot of epic mk 2. the final version which i begin working when i'm free will probably look nothing like this.
HOWEVER i do want comments and feedback.

I really like what you have thus far... It definitely does retain the feel of the original, but I'd describe it as having a smoother edge to it than the original, possibly because it's simpler and incomplete as of yet. Regardless, I really like what you've got here, and highly anticipate the release of the final successor. Keep us posted!

well the new redux of epic is now underway now that i have my reformatted machine back online... of course school just started up again so my schedule is on a squeeze. i will also start my new job in the coming week, hopefully. thanks for the feedback

This is a really nice picture. Since you want feedback, I figured I'd critique it pretty harshly (to the best of my abilities.) The one thing that I do not like about this piece is that grey pattern that is diagnol. It either needs to be incorporated smoother, or have a much lower opacity. (IMO.) I think that it would look best if you just added more diagnol stuff but not as diagnol as that piece. That way it'll look almost like it was spinning out of the line. Well, I hope this helped. I really like the "heat" that comes from the center, and the orange is very well done. All in all this is a nice piece, and the only reason I made a suggestion is because I know your skills, and I know you'll make this kick butt!
