Wow I've really been into short, sloppy, comics lately...Anyhoo I was just thinking about how similar Link and Aang are if you think about it. Both are constantly reincarnated, both are trusted at a young age with the fate of the world, both go on a journey to strengthen their courage, wisdom an power (It isn't explicitly said in ATLA but that's basically what he's doing). They both make sacrifices for the significant female in their lives (I don't know what Zelda is to Link, it's not clear): Aang refuses control over the avatar state so he can hold onto love (D'awww) and Link goes through a TON of stuff in to save Zelda EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE GETS HERSELF KIDNAPPED (Though she's not as bad as Peach).
I just had this idea of Katara and Zelda arguing over who was better and thought it was worth drawing!
Who do you think would win in a fight? Link or Aang? Zelda vs Katara?

OMG My favorite TV Show and Game! Link is pretty, I love Zuko on Avatar. Well I don't like Katara so much well, I prefer Zelda! If it was Toph I would said both.

Sorry Link... I mean, he has the triforce of courage but honestly? It really doesn't do much... good thing Aang is too peaceful to ever pick a fight with anyone, much less Link!

I agree with you to be honest! I think it's because we've been able to track the growth in Aang's character whereas with Link, he's just great all the way through... but it's debatable!

People underestimate her but remember: She can heal most of the wounds she gets, she's a waterbending master meaning she can control plants, ice, water and (though she would never actually use it) the blood inside people. She's a pretty strong opponent. Not to mention, she took down Azula

Really? I feel like you would like it! It's actually really similar to Zelda in a lot of ways! Plus it's REALLY funny! You don't have to try it if you don't want but I can give you a website where you can watch all the episodes for free if you feel like giving it a try

Aw no way! I guess it depends on the which Zelda... Katara could easily beat Zelda's 1 and 2, maybe Oot, possibly SS, Four Swords... But then again, she could have a lot of power that we haven't seen her use...

Definitely 1 and 2, not sure about OoT or SS (I LOVE SS Zelda's personality!) but not WW. WW Zelda is too awesome. TP Zelda is a bit static but she's probably the strongest of all of them.

I agree whole-heartedly. I think any Zelda who fought with Link in the Ganondorf battle automatically get respect. I think that OoT is better in her Sheik form but to be honest she doesn't really do much with her magic besides open gates. She was separated from Link by a wall of fire but if she had REALLY powerful magic I think she would have been able to get herself out of that situation. I LOVE SS ZELDA TOO! But she really didn't do much either... I'm sure in her Hylia form she's pretty powerful (you know, being a goddess and all) but remember, she gave all that up to transfer her soul into a mortal body... so long story short: It depends.

Very, very true... OoT Zelda wasn't my absolute favorite but the 10 year old version of her was pretty adorable! ^_^
SS Zelda = Epic. I mean, her personality was just amazing, bubbly, fun, and all around sugar-rush-inducing sweet. XD Well, I'm not sure if she really did turn back into Hylia towards the end of the game because we never saw any of her powers so we can't be sure. But I would love to see a game where it has the ACTUAL Hylia. That would be so cool!
