Inappropriate: A dirty joke has never harmed anyone. Physically, at least. Sergej is pretty much shameless and loves cracking dirty jokes and very bad innuendos when the moment arises, and doesn't really care whether or not someone responds badly to it.
Straightforward: As expected, Sergej is very straightforward with his words. He never beats around the bush and will always be honest with how he feels. He's surprisingly straightforward when it comes to talking about someone as well. When it's

History: Sergej's life wasn't one out of the ordinary. He was born in an ordinary home in King's City, to two loving parents. Often his parents would be out at work, and during that time, he usually spent it doing anything at home or spending time at his relatives' house.

As a teenager, he wasn't able to get a proper and stable job which would ensure a good income and so he was to stay at home and do chores and all those sorts while his parents were at work. Sitting at home day and night with absolutely nothing to do, Sergej often felt lethargic and quite lazy just being there, that when one day he saw moving blurs around the house, he just thought... he had to get out and be productive. And so he did. Every morning, he'd go for a jog while his parents were asleep, keeping himself healthy as he did so. Well, at least it cured his laziness and he was no longer sporting a beer gut... but there was one thing that hadn't changed. He was still seeing those moving blurs. Not only at home, but even as he went for a jog in the morning. It was time to preoccupy himself with more things, he thought.

He pretty much became a health nut and a workaholic, all in one by the time he turned 20. He spent the past four years helping out neighbours for pocket money, even different odd jobs just to earn some more money in order to help his parents pay for bills and such. When he turned 20, he took up actual jobs within the community - janitor at a mall, waiter at a no-named cafe, helping with construction work, and finally, his current job, a host. It wasn't as though he wanted the job, it was just that it was that job that brought in the most money. And so he stuck with it. It wasn't as though he was doing anything illegal nor was he doing anything that would gain him diseases, so it was fine.

But even these jobs didn't help those blurs disappear. In fact, his vision sharpened and he was able to see them more clearly. He felt almost delusional and labeled himself 'crazy' for having seen spirits that no one else could. But growing up as a Popov, something changed within him. As the years of work grew, so did his craving for money. Soon, rumors began to spread about his boss and how he was in fact involved in a drug circle, having goods imported from outside countries. Apparently, there was someone out to blackmail, and he needed someone to, well, get rid of them. Sergej was greatly hesitant. But his parents had gotten in a rough patch around that time and needed money, and this job... this job. It was going to bring in a lot. And so he accepted the job. He spent a day and a half searching through a good portion of the city before finding who he was to eliminate and just when he had found the guy... he couldn't kill him. Those damned spirits began to crowd him once again. Sergej had finally had enough of those spirits and began to beat the man who cowered in front of him, but not enough to kill him; as he thrashed about in an attempt to 'hit' the spirits. Due to Sergej being loud enough for the neighborhood to hear him, the police was called and he was immediately put as a 'Threat' by the government.

Attempting to escape the clutches of officials, he was knocked out. He awoke in an underwater prison, and as his vision cleared, he saw someone peculiar. Well, it was less peculiar and more that the person looked... familiar. Sergej felt like shooting himself when he realized it was his own uncle standing there. But that aside, he mentally freaked out (or just freaked out in general) when he remembered that you know. He was in prison. But while he was busy thinking of ways to kill himself before his parents found out, they gave him an offer. To join them. To join them and help diminish evil spirits, just like the ones that had been haunting him.
