I've been working on this for a while and have been very excited because of how cute I think it is. I do feel that I let it down a bit with the shading unfortunately, especially on Peggy. I tried so hard to fix it. Maybe the overlays are too much as well? I don't know. In any case, I'll be posting a flat version to my rough work blog shortly.

I may have gone a little too hard referencing. You could easily pick the photo I used out of a lineup. I know the pose is maybe a little romantic but I thought if I put Peggy's hand under the blanket it might look...even more suspect...so...anyway, they're quite a cuddly pair. They've known each other for a long time.

I had some fun designing the room, even if it may not look that detailed. I did try. The succulent on the coffee table was a given. There was originally going to be a macrame thing on the wall, but then I remembered wall planters exist and that seemed perfect. I don't know if I've ever publicly mentioned Hunter's love of plants...it is a fact! He brings home way too many. Sorry the plant in the background looks so shit. I had a vision and plan but didn't remember what it was by the time I got to shading that part. For one of the paintings, I actually was going to take an old drawing of Peggy and put an oil painting filter over it because her partner has definitely painted at least one portrait of her, but CSP doesn't have such a filter and I wasn't about to put any more effort in than that. I did download a canvas effect though to make the paintings look a bit more paintingesque. Otherwise, I didn't try as hard with them as I probably should have. As for the other items, I would've liked to do takeout containers but Hunter loves to cook so they don't actually order in that much. I figured an ice cream container and a bowl of popcorn would fit just fine. I tried so hard to shade the spoon accurately I really did. Sorry it didn't quite work. The effort is there though.

As for the pair...here they are! I am lamenting that my design updates to Hunter may actually be making him uglier...however, I'm actually starting to come around on that, at least in this drawing. Maybe the darkness helps LOL. Peggy actually has a slight design change too! Well, two I guess, because I also made her hair streak more of a skunk stripe than the way I used to draw it, but I'd already incorporated that into a previous drawing. Now, she also has a more defined part in her hair. Really, I should've done that forever ago. I think it looks super nice with her hairstyle, definitely better than how it used to look. Other than that though, she's pretty much the same. Maybe I should give her more facial piercings sometime...

I don't have as much to say as I thought I would, which probably means I'm forgetting what I had planned to talk about...as usual...oh well. Enjoy my cute OCs.
