One of the many curses of being human, I'd say. Our ability to reason and think might make us different than animals, and other lesser beings, but it is a constant source of torutre. A sure source of endless agony, one that blazes like a torch, but requires no fuel - except our numerous experiences. Who would want the ability to be able to comprehend the evil and injustice in this world and our surroundings? A madman? Perhaps. In the end, we just need to make sure that there is a fair tradeoff, with what little good we can scrape from the surface of our existence.
