... That went surprisingly well. With a lot going not-quite-spoken.And amusingly enough it was this sort of time of year - early winter - that Sarah got kidnapped to the rooftop that other time, too.
[Unfortunately it's kinda hard to draw ironic enthusiasm, or at least I failed - panels 1-2-3 Sarah is being very brittle and snarky-toned in her "yay"-ness. just fyi.]
(... Oh gosh I am not doing all the Underground pages in colour...!!)

I wonder why it's inappropriate for Sarah to use a Portkey? Because she's not part of the universe to which that particular magic is native, perhaps...
So in fact Luna at least can get back whenever she wants, via 'mechanical' (or at least pre-charged) magic, quite independently of Jareth or anyone else.
"Moontouched" fits Luna's little oddities perfectly! (So much so that I wonder if that's what Rowling had in mind when naming her...)

Inappropriate for Sarah in her capacity as 'Temporary Acting Goblin Monarch'. As Jareth says, royalty needs to travel in style and [at least with the appearance of] under one's own powers - not as a hanger-on to someone else's Portkey.

Holy shit I think I just developed a mighty need for matched ankle tattoos saying "It's further than you think" and "...And time is short..." (Or perhaps that would look better as a ring around one ankle?) In the movie, when Jareth first comes to take Toby with him, he offers Sarah a pretty crystal that supposedly contains her dreams in an effort to persuade her not to run the labyrinth. If I'm not entirely mistaken, the crystal turns into a pretty silk scarf, which he throws at her but in mid-flight it becomes a snake trying to wrap around her neck. Sarah throws it to the ground and it vanishes.
I recommend you watch "Labyrinth". It IS an awesome movie and half the jokes do relate to it.

You've shown us such amazing character progression over the course of your GnD comics (especially with these last few pages!). I'm curious:
Hypothetically speaking, if Sarah were to get sick while in the Labyrinth with Luna, would she:
(a) Immediately demand to go back to the apartment
(b) Debate the pros and cons of leaving v. staying, but ultimately go back to the apartment
(c) Same as above, except stay in the Labyrinth 'til she is feeling better
(d) Stay in the Labyrinth and let Jareth "fix it"
(e) Something else not listed here
I'm wondering how much Sarah's trust of Jareth has progressed. Two years ago, I'm fairly certain it would be option (a). Now.......not so sure. Thoughts?

A big ole dollop of wait and see, but you really need to reframe that hypothetical. I think if Sarah were to start feeling ill in the Labyrinth just like that, she'd go with her more paranoid instincts and get the heck outta Faerie. Now, if you want to imagine a sprained ankle situation or something obviously accidental like that, it does get more interesting...

For not taking advantage of her when her eyes were closed, I will give Jareth 2 Shows Improvement points.
For closing her eyes in the first place, I will also give Sarah 2 Trust points, BUT she loses 2 paranoia points!
Seriously though, I loved those last few panels. They are both making progress in a very understated, believable way. I know a percentage of readers are hoping to see some Dark Jareth during this arc, but personally I'm hoping to not see that side of him because I feel like it would set him back with Sarah, and I hope he understands that and plays this accordingly.
Also personally, loving the color!
