Description After multiple tries to design Prime styled Shockwave, I think I finally managed to satisfy myself although it's not that much a style thing.. what ya call it. I think my earliest sketches of him are from the summer 2011

I think it's a mixture of G1, Bayverse, Prime and WfC


The final push for me was that I'm actually writing a goddamned fanfic, and I am planning on drawing image for each chapter so.. Yes... Dear Hasbro, let there be Shockwave in TFP *crosses fingers and waits for her design to be utterly destroyed*

I kind of imagined him being almost as big as Megatron, crazy scientist who has modified himself as he pleases. Yarr.

Great design of TFP Shockwave. But the actual TFP Shockwave design is still better, though.

Thank you. Back when I designed this there was no news about Shockwave appearing in TFP, so yeah. I agree with you. To me the canon design is awesome and mine just pales and dies in comparison!

hey pika shockwave just debut in transformers prime episode out of the past and this artwork of yours is highly similar to his official design! can you see the future cuz you got everything from his official artwork.

I saw him in the episode and my design isn't quite like it hehe. Although it has a lot of similarities but that's only because they've been following the overall Shockwave designs For example in Prime his gun is single barreled, wings bends upward (like in War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron) and he's a lot more bulky in it than what I designed His head design is way off plus I colored his optic yellow when in the series, at least in the past, it's red instead. Rest I followed basically the "overall" Decepticon design points like sharp tip fingers

I hope he appears in Transformers: Prime . I think you did a splendid job designing him, I agree with you on that he's just about has powerful as Megatron. So Shockwave as big as Megatron sounds right.

oh baby yes. And lets hope hasbro is scanning the web looking for fan drawings and will find yours and bring this glorious piece to life on the Hub.

I like that he's not really bulky or lanky. Most in TFP are one or the other, not too many in between.
