"So, you want to battle?" Wayne asked you thoughtfully. "Of course, I'll accept your challenge, but first... let me show you my Pokemon!"My entry for 's contest. Wayne is in the middle with his team of Six Star Elites surrounding him.
I basically did this just for fun.
It would be cool if I won, though.I can't get over transparent backgrounds!
Also, I'm a bit corny.

Blaze is NOT a girl.
The six star is too far to the right.
Blaze is too small.
Lizzy is too big.
Blue is too big.
Lizzy's head is out of proportion.
The teardrop near her private area should not be there.
Lizzy's anatomy and coloring is completely off. (I don't mean the colors you used for her seeing that she's a shiny, I mean the details on her including that big teardrop in the middle of her forehead.)
Wayne is too fat.
Torterra's claw on the front left leg (from the viewer's point) is missing.
Blaze has three claws, not four.
Blue's right "dog ear" is missing.
Blue's tail is much too long and skinny.
The Torterra's left spike is too low.
Blaze's tail should not have been drawn in front of his wing.
Wayne's arms are way too stiff.
Wayne's tails are too short and too skinny.
Lizzy looks like she has a weird private part.
Wayne's tube is way too skinny.
Lizzy's, Blue's, and Blaze's arms are all too noodle-like and unnatural.
Many, many more mistakes are laid out here. You need a lot of work if you ever want to make good digital art.

Well, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRY! If you looked at the DESCRIPTION you would have seen that "I basically did this just for fun."
I used Threehorn's own profile pictures as a refrence, and HE should know what he's doing with HIS OWN CHARACTERS.
By the way, Blaze IS a girl, Blue's "dog ear" IS there, AND I'M STILL PRACTICING MY DRAWING, SO A LITTLE POSITIVE FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED!!!

I did notice that you said "I did this just for fun." I pointed out the mistakes anyways.
You don't need to immediately become pissed at me for pointing out a bunch of mistakes nor yell at me for doing that.

Don't get me wrong; I appreciate people pointing out mistakes, but you could have given your criticism a bit more constructively. For example, when you said "many, many more mistakes are laid out here" It made me feel like you didn't appreciate any of the positive aspects of the piece.
And, it doesn't help that in saying " you need a lot of work if you ever want to make good digital art" it implies that I'm not in the least bit good already.

Well I do tend to hit a little hard when I criticize and overdo it without trying to, so at least try to forgive me... (YOU KIDDING?! D:<)
So what I was trying to imply is that it needed a lot of work and that it would be best to get the mistakes out when they happen so you don't stress over them at the end. I'm not saying you're terrible, I'm only trying to say, "Hey, you're on the right track, but you're not quite there yet. I would suggest working on it and get better." Also, in your avatar, do you realize that you show Riolu and Vulpix Nevermind. I just realized something.

I have a lot of stuff to deal with at the moment. I got four school projects piled on me, and possibly more on the way.
Also, I work hard on all of my pictures, even if they're just for fun or just sketches, so when someone seems to be criticizing them a bit harshly, I get defensive...

I never had a favorite of the Kanto starters, but Charizard is pretty cool.

My favorite was squirtle growing up. I started liking charizard after I watched the first pokemon movie.

My brother kept erasing my games, so I eventually had all of the starters at one point or another.
