never usef falloff ... whar oes it do? ... i think the froblem is that i had to use linear with a zscale of 0.7 to extent the flame and decrease the sphere size properly ... this causes overlapp of differently scaled hemispheres :/ dont know what i can do about it

mmm sphericals are tricky with this overlap problems
falloff is a directional blur variation you can decide to blur only on one axis, so I think the vertical "surfaces" would benefit and look really dynamic and dramatic, like beams of rising light or waterfalls!!!
