You know, I kind of get the impression of a very fast freighter hauling high end goods that need to get to their swanky customers A.S.A.P.! Great work as always!

It looks like the design process began with" Hey we have the really big engine, and a bunch of little ones left over from Project 2951"...."what do we do with them"..."Lets make something fast...."

I have to say the final product is spiffy. Even if it started out like that.
I'd be tempted to jam the throttles to the firewall and hold on for dear life if piloting it.

yeah its a pity it works like that! some well known group will make poor quality but due to "good advertising" they will be popular.. while no one sees ur stuff..

Your texturing style is very interesting; I don't think I've seen anything like it around here before.

Thank you. It is not an exactly a texture mapping . Maybe I should call it mask mapping , cause eventually I dont create / paint traditional texture maps . I paint couple of layers of masking maps , and I create different materials to show up / shine through .

Great modeling.
This is your own concept?
How your workflow looks like?
Are you starting modeling a basic shape? Or From details to whole model?

I can say yes, this ship is my own concept . But I am sure in this eclectic soup there are endless hours of other artists inspirations !
My work flow is very basic . A cube ,then subdivisioned sphere and ... first HULL . If ship will be symmetrical then I cut hull right in the center and model in rough details . Before I get to cocpit I extract cocpit shield area and carve inside the cocpit . Second I build some basic drives , engines ( in desired tech level ) extra little wings ( Wings are always very nice to look at ) you can build them to serve sensor arrays , or to hold external gadgets weapons range finders comm links or engines . 1 hull 2 cocpit 3 drives and wings 4 texture and lights and render . Once I get first couple of renders ,top bottom etc . I look at the model and ,I build more little extra detail for eye candy or to cover unwanted mistakes .
That is the rough way of my work flow .
