It has been a while since I last drew Gakupo, so I picked him as  "Duke Venomania" to paint to familiarize myself with Manga Studio and to also try different painting techniques. ( • v•)/

As for the song reference ("Red Carnation" by Jupiter), I was just listening to their album and when the song came up, things just clicked.   I had the song on loop for this rest of the painting process, it really added to the "romantic" mood I went for (also inspired the title).

Yep...I pretty much abandoned my old account to get a new, more "professional" start.

I'm still learning myself, but keep at it!  
It's really nice and rewarding when you look at how far you progressed from when you first started.

Just looking at my art from next year makes me cringe, the improvement is always immense and quite frankly startling. I can't wait to see what will happen in the future though!
