Description I figured I should've uploaded this sooner?

Anyways.
As for the picture. Mari, and Nolan are suposed to be brothers. There's a story of them (sort of) on my tumblr. Where Mari explains his side of the story. They're stepbrothers. Both their actual parents got divorced and Mari's mom got re-married with Nolan's rich dad.
Nolan is the star, and perfect son. While Mari is the outcast, a minority? Sort of? Nolan followed his dad's footsteps and became a psychologist with his own practice... Mari, isn't doing, anything.
He recently moved in with Nolan after what has been years.
The thing is, Nolan's dad, as well as Mari's mom (as she goes with everything the dad says) are extremely homophobic. And they both were actually together for quite some time. Without their parents knowing. And they still dont know. (dont go crossfaced with me, they're not blood related, so there)
They were together for a fair 3 years, at most. When they were a lot smaller. Nolan moved out eventually to chase his dad's dreams and become a loved and just as succesfull psychologist. And Mari was completely forgotten, in a way, that's where they both parted ways. And now, they're together again.
But this time just as 'family' or 'friends' but in the end, roommates.

Nolan is still as busy as ever, and Mari.. Well Mari is actually unsure about his life right now... His story makes me sad, but I love him dearly nonetheless.

These pictures tell such a beautiful story (as well as the actual story, which was very sad too). I love how such a simple change in posture tells so much about the character and the relationship.

Thank you so much!! I wanted to like... Capture how their daily, day would look like. As in, in picture Nolan would look busy.. And Mari would be just, standing there.. on the sidelines..

I really like how you captured all Mari has in that 1st shot there. I can feel him thinking about everything... And feeling sad that Nolan doesn't/hasn't realised he's looking (Or is it that Nolan just can't be bothered?).

The feeling where you want to ask something to someone, and you decide that maybe it's just not that important a question to justify disturbing them. Even if it's something important to you (but it might seem trivial to others). That kind of feeling. And then you think maybe it's good enough just to sit beside the other person and be content with that. >.> I get that sometimes for my best friend cos well, she just seems too busy. Yeahh.

Haha, yeah. I do think it's insecurity on my part at times, because when I do work up the courage to ask my friend (I mean, if I don't ask my best friend, I won't ask anyone, so I try to ask her stuff that I can't figure out myself, even if it's her I can't figure out), it turns out I'm pretty much thinking too much anyway. Hmm, yeah. Usually it's played out by my own insecurities more than anything. Sometimes if I was the other person (the one not realising someone else is insecure/has things to ask but don't want to bother me etc), I'll be frustrated OR I'll be angry at the person for not knowing me better. But well, I find that if it's someone you can talk to, the issue should get resolved (somewhat) pretty fast.

Man, I rambled on too much. :/

Well friends are confusing, I often wish I didnt had any, but if I didnt had any that would be worse too!... I guess its valueing what you have, even when i dont often do it myself. I have a few complicated friends of my own, and kinda the same like you do. I talk to her and its like,. onto another subject...
Then you can literally hear someone in your head screaming: OUCH, REJEEECTION...

Urgh i know right? People would never bother me, ever... I hate it when they think that, but once I have to ask something myself, I suddenly get why they're so taking back cuz its hard for you/me too haha...

Poor Mari. ;__; Is he still in love with Nolan? In my opinion making up characters and stories is a wonderful thing. Unlike in real life we have the opportunity to make everyone happy if we want to. One of my characters has a very sad past, that's why I always try to make him happy in the present. On the other hand... I really like the sad things Mari blogs on his Tumblr sometimes. Some of the things I know very well. Sooo... Mari is awesome. ^^°

No he's not ^^ he was before, but he found other people to love. Sorta. Nolan still does love him a little, but he knows, if you love something enough, set it free. Right? Nolan just wants him to be happy, even if its without him. And Nolan is a big boy, he manages well enough, he just likes to see Mari smile. Cuz Mari hardly does : /
But yeah thats absolutely true. But not rly, or well not for me.. Cuz the two men I mentioned, well they're not dolls of mine, because I rp with different people on sites or... whatever. Thats how his story became the way it is today.

But thats soo cute. It makes you feel like he's alive haha. Thats cute to hear.
Ah really? Well I think it makes things so much more, well.... beautifull when its a real, human pain, or sad things he's going through so people can relate to it.

I don't know if I understood that right. So you make up the characters and stories with other people, but these are still your dolls, aren't they? You bought them and own them?

Hahaha the emoticons yeah. but its beautifull, though with MAri its kinda hard to do sometimes. I mean storywise. sure, but this is rping as well. and it makes you sad sometimes haha.

You dont know what rping is? Role play? Like, my characters (MAri in this case) interacts with other peoples dolls. together, you build up a story. He's together with someone else's doll?... So no the ones he's 'with' arent mine. No. I rp (roleplay) with the owners. And so on develops a story ^^

Eehh... I heard of RPGs. Those where people write down what they do, think and say. Written, on websites, like chats. But I didn't know that doll collectors mix their characters and stories. I only saw... Kris and Yami? That confused me enough. xD

My characters belong to me and to the world I created, I have an exaggerated protective instinct relating to them. *cough* >__> Like... if someone hurt one of my characters, he would wake up with an axe in his head the next day. ò_ó Exaggerated protective instinct. -_-° I have them for ten years now. One does not simply invade my world and mess up my characters. x'D

And how do you rp? Do you write whole stories together or do you chat/mail/phone with each other? .___.
