It would seem that have caught my sprites being used without my knowledge or permission for the second time. As such, I will no longer be accepting ANY Sonic-related sprite requests and if I see or find out about this happening a third time I will drop the project cold turkey.

Yes, the idea is you look but you don't touch. I've had people steal my sprites twice now without asking or even crediting me (thereby claiming my work to be theirs) and I do not want that happening again.

While I am glad you think they are wonderful I still can not let you use them. I appreciate you asking, but as I said, I have had my sprites stolen twice in the past and I do not want that to happen again.

I don't distribute my sprites in sheets, no. Presenting them as animations like this still allows for people to see and enjoy them but also reduces the risk of them being used without my permission.

I apologize for the late reply, but the reason I haven't been able to give you an answer is because i guess I still don't fully understand how you're going to use the sprite. What exactly are these videos of yours?

I have a YouTube account which goes by the same name as my username on here where me and a few others write a Sprite Series and I was going to ask if I could have permission to use your Julie-Su sprites, I'll send a note with a link to the recent season! 
Julie-Su's sprites are really limited by the way, same with a lot of Archie characters unfortunately but yours are impressive

Hmm.... after taking a look there are some nitpicks that could be made, but I still think I can approve of this project. But, before I let you use the sprites, my one question is: Does this story involve fan-characters at all?

Oh dear, that might be a slight snag then.... I personally don't really support the use of fan-characters for a franchise like since I feel there are more than enough official characters between the games, cartoons and comics. (not to mention.... the rampant use of unoriginal, cliche concepts are re-colored designs....)
.....however....if you will allow me to see profiles of these characters I may be willing to give them a chance.

you are so good at pixelart do you pixel the sprites all by yourself? And do you animate them?

No, these are re-purposed from the characters that are in the game. They are re-colored and different parts from others are added to turn them into the different, older characters who weren't in the game. As for the animating, it's easy when you're using a base like this. All you have to do is follow frames.
