my friend who i have oh-so cleverly deemed pdah-rapname worthy, (i happen to be J-SALAD)the first asker from my PWNING CLASS of F1C (no, that would not be a graduating year
) to ..well, ASK if i could draw themselves. ain't he just ...fizzely? (--wait, i'm not quite sure if that comes out as a compliment...) anyway, i'm not quite sure about the eyes, or if the smile looks forced (which is the reason i picked this particular pic of him to draw, the smile, it looked like him, and the reason it kills me to think i might've butchered it) so, tell me what you think, agreements or encouragements, or.. "PDAH YOU FUCKING WIN" works too D

Okay, so! I personally think you did the eyes very well. I love the shapes of them and the shading done for the eyelids and eyebrows. I think they have lots of expression. I also really love the shading for the muscle of the check/mouth you did there and how the nose stretches with it naturally. The smile doesn't look forced, but I think it's a little awkward because his lips look a little pursed. His right arm was shaded very well, but I feel his left hand is a bit small.
I think we might be the same way on this, this being, drawing faces and skin is very fun, and we tend to concentrate more on that, but I think you should start looking into putting a little more work into other things like clothes, hair, and even backgrounds. But yeah, I am the same way -__-;;
I chose to comment this picture because I thought it was really natural and simple yet it's somehow relieving to look at. But I think you tend to go for that kind of thing to draw anyway~.
