You want a truth bomb? I was really drunk when typing that. It must have been right after watching the season premiere. And my drunk ass brain must have gotten the smart idea to come to deviantart and comment "inaccurate" on every single art of Finn that still, well, had both arms. I'm really sorry, and I promise you it will never happen again.Β
But, to be honest, I really do love this piece. The sort of cut-out paper look is really pleasing to my eye

Not everything, but I know a lot about it. I hated AT when it first came on. But now I LOVE it!! I'm writing a fan comic explaining it in my sketch book.

I like Adventure Time, its practically a story of a Dark World told in the view eyes of Kid, who starts to see much darker views as he is getting older (Since Beginning of the Show Finn 12 currently 14 and compare the first episode to the Recent episode, its pretty clear that the story is getting Darker i mean just look at it Slumber Party Zombie thing was not serious, but the Recent Son of Mars, oh boy its dark very dark and deep

the backstory they hint at is a dark one as well.. constantly hinting at this being not another world but our future. and some of the strange subtleties of mental defects in characters, especially finn who in the show has talked about thinking about his existence. which is what draws in the older crowd to something so wacky and silly. Its not so much Dark as it is realistic, in that the crazy characters though not physically still seem very human. And its that love for something hidden that they leave for us to figure out. I still love a more battle ready fin though, in my mind this is something he would wear if he should dare to venture far away from his home. Really far.

Ah yes I suppose I was referring to some of there lighter traits as well. Finns ability to do good is a trait that exists in our world as well, or jakes need to protect him. So its not all dark. But you do put forth some good points.
