Haaah.That took WAY too long. 4 days? I dunno. But I spent a day thinning the lineart.
The one on the right is Peri-snale's character. The one on the right is the same witch as the halloween pic, just with altered colors.
There may be a few neatness issues, but other than that, I'd love a critique.
THe worst part is originally it was like a 1500 width canvas with 8px lineart.
Next time I'm using 1px.Well anyways, merry christmas! Have a great winter and new year.

ok, first thing I notice; good strong poses and good size for the characters in relation to the canvas size (creates an immediate emphasis). you also emphasized them even more with the slight glow around them from the background, but it also doesn't distract, so bonus. And the background helps bring out the characters well without being boring 
I think the balance could also be improved. both their hats point the same way and their poses seem to be inclined towards the right. reversing the one on the left, or at least her body language, would create better balance and draw the eye to the center.
very nice job with the shading, keep that up and keep working on how shadows get stronger or softer, although it seems like the lighting on each girl is different, but not so different that it's too big a deal. One last thing on the shadows, the white dress witch's shadows have more purple/coolness to them than the red witch. Red can be tough to add a bit of cool to, but when you get it, it really lights up the character and brings everything together XD

aww thanks! I'll remember to add cool to the red. So is it like you need warm AND cool? (If it's a warm dress add cool, if it's cool add warmth?)

it depends on the colour you want to bring out. you have a purple background, so for the white dress, the colder shadows compliment that colour. If you had a green background, green or blue in the shadows would fit. if there's something like a candle or lantern or something that gives off a coloured light, that colour would be the one you'd want to emphasize too.

You should try it. IT's the most awesome CG program ever. Very smooth lines and rotate canvas and easy peasy to zoom.
