Because I couldn't leave him all black and white and too sketchy ^_^. Colored with photoshop 5.5... I haven't installed cs2 which my Cousin got me...In case you drop by, THANK YOUUUU!!!

needs a bit more light effects.... try adding blues of cooler tones to the lighting.... It looks really cool though! Kinda like a final fantasy character.... Cid !(ff7) i think that's who he reminds me of!

Cid XD lol ... Yes lighting could be improved but for this piece I wanted to try for a flatter look for coloring. Will try out more light effects in the future... I wanna draw Remus Lupin X3....

Although a bit flat, your coloring came out pretty well. Maybe using lighter tones and more contrast could have a better effect.
Anyways, who am I to judge - it's like I know something about coloring... XD

^_^ yes, this piece had a "more flat" coloring to it. I don't know I wanted it to look more earthy and have an autumn feel at the same time be more subdued. >_o it was lighter before I saved it but 5.5 has issues... XDDD
Will try lighter and more contrast next time ^_^
