oh man, what a delayed posting. color study on a partial photocopy of a drawing I did last summer (2019)
this was kind of (?) a redesign of my Lakelords which were my flagship creature back in high school, but I've kind of shelved that story arc. doesn't mean I can't take a dip in that pond every once in a while though
I was so proud of myself when I finished the drawing, but now that I look at it again many months later, I can see where it needs more work. oh well, I had a lot of fun, both on the drawing and coloring. I tried playing around with this in procreate too but I still have a lot to learn there as well.

lmao, I got baffled by the copy machine at my local library, the drawing got cut off and I ran out of quarters! so this is the part I colored. marker base with stabilo fine liners, colored pencil and gel pen for details.

anyway, expect to see more of this guy.
