I love this series. What an original idea. Helen Keller is the last person I'd consider for a photography project :S

The lifting of the ribbon... it means she wants to yet she still can not. It's very simple. This poor girl is doomed to a life of ill communication and disadvantages. It saddens me, really. Makes me want to be able to do something, for her. To help her. But I can't, now can I?

What a frustrating life it must have been for her...not just when she was young and unable to understand the world around her but after she began to learn how to communicate, it still couldnt have been easy. it's impossible to imagine what it would be like having such a limited "view". luckily Annie was there to help her out!!
Great series. and beautiful work. Very well done
