Daisy seriously needs to be in main games again, ever since Super Mario Land, she's been downgraded to only spin-offs, she has much more going than being a side character in my view, which is why I'm going to share this petition care to sign if interested:

Put daisy in smash 4.
Every daisy and luigi fan email nintendo and tell them you want her included
they will listen and reply saying they will document your request. Since it makes sense and she is a nintendo mainstream character maybe we have a chance. Then tell other daisy fans to do the same.

Very cute. I love her expression, and the coloring is nice, too. Something about it makes it feel like a throwback to me, even though she's wearing the newer dress and all. I guess it's just the style... but it's charming, one way or another.

I see you've gotten a lot of crit. here. I will say you got the colors pretty good. Her lips have coloration, but not to the point where it's thick, it just appears as she has a defined lip zone rather than she's wearing lipstick like Peach or Rosalina even.
I'm surprised so many people pointed out how her face shape is off, considering so many other drawings screw it up just as much. No offense, lol. And yeah, her eyes and general face area is pretty far. Still decent in most aspects however. You should consider it a stepping stone.

It really was just a fast, quick piece. I had actually only ever played Mario Kart with her in it, so I'd never seen her before then. I'm no expert, and I used Peach as a reference, since there isn't much in regards to actual refs that aren't 3D (I hate working off of 3D work.) As regards to her color, I just color dropped everything right out of an official picture. So any color differences were accidentally snagging the color one pixel over.

Haha, thanks. I just eyedropped the color from one of her pictures and that was the hue of her lips in the particular image. (It's one of the sports games..., I think.)

Her face is too narrow, Daisy has a much rounder face. And her eyes are too much like Peach's, there needs to be more of a slant to the top of her eyes before they curve.
Other than that it's very good.

Thanks for the crit, and compliment. If I'd have been more serious (or had wanted to spend more time on it) I probably would have tried harder to get her better (like her hand @_@), lol, but it was kind of a speed piece. (Gah, I always forget to hit reply. V_V)
