I had a horrible moment with an American who said "Yeah, he has a nice fanny!!!" And I sat that utterly confused and very disturbed because it really does not mean the same thing in England and I had to explain. :L

haha!!! i've had moments like that with my boyfriend.. i work as a lifeguard and they give us those packs to go around our waist, and here in the USA, we call them "fanny packs" because here, fanny = butt. he keeps reminding me that fanny does not = butt in England, though he finds my lifeguard related outbursts hilarious!

To be honest I think some English things are weird (Yorkshire puddings etc) I also think its weird that we speak the same language yet our cultures are so different. But now I'm getting too in depth lol Anyway it makes for good art and writing
