By "picked up" did you mean it was something you bought from a show, or did you mean an idea you picked up in your head? So very adorable, either way. I adore the reserved shading, as if it's an old Golden Books illustration.

It's an illustration for a book, the author named the little bat Kiki.
I picked this picture up from my PC where I have tons of drawings I've never submitted to dA. So it was a random pick to submit something to my gallery.

I have two more books, one got a traditional and a digital version (I made animation for the digital one as well).

And this book with the bats is just a volunteer work of mine. The book is written by the mom of my best friend.
