Speaking plainly, this is absolutely gorgeous. I'm a huge fan of The Hunger Games, and so this one really makes an impact in me. Although not completely revolutionary, since the idea of making Hunger Games makeup is not new, no one, at least that I know of, has done it so ravishingly stunning as you. This just explodes with awe and wonder in your eyes, delighting the observer with a marvelous vision of what Suzanne Collins writes in her masterpiece saga. And you do capture the idea of what the Mockingjay is and represents for all of Panem, both enemies and allies alike. Something beautiful that cannot be contained and can give hope as well as destroy it. And that's why I give you the highest note in technique and impact. Because this is something as clever and beautiful as anything Cinna could have made. I love your work here and I encourage you to keep amazing us with such outstanding an so filled with meaning makeup. You truly demonstrate makeup is also an art.

This is gorgeous! I love the glitter and the feathers. It makes the eye and the color pop. I love the gold under and on top of the eye it really ties in with the orange color. But what I did not like is the eyelashes. It's not the white or anything it's just they seem like you were in a hurry and just smeared primer over them. It caused them to fall and look like they stick straight and clumpy on one side. Otherwise great work! I really love the feathers again! Hope this is fair enough! Thanks

Wow... Let me just say, this is so amazingly beautiful, that I can't describe it in words.
But, I have to try and do that! xD
First of all, H.G. has been used many times on this site but, this is the first time I've ever seen something like this. (It's either that, or I don't look hard enough... probably the second one.)
How you tried to recreate the Mockingjay is just beautiful. You got even the tiniest details done! The glitter, the little mini flames, or something like that, at the top of your eye, the little mini blotches of white... Is that paint? I don't know, I'm not really in the fashion world sooo...
Anyway, as I was saying, the details are amazing, the colors are brilliant, and it's just.. so beautiful!
As you can see, I couldn't describe it because of it's beauty!

omg i mean.... wow this is amazing!!! it so beautiful i love the little details like the little spots and the colors are just magnificent!!!!! and the color of your eye compliments it very well! the feathers are beautiful!!!!! the gold, rust, black, brown, and the white all compliment each other... i mean just wow this is just beautiful!!!!! there are no other words to describe it... just beautiful, fantastic, amazing, original, colorful, detailed, ... very detailed, and did i say this is beautiful!!!! and all i wonder is how long it took to do this i mean it looks like it took a long time...

Wow this is, omg. I mean it really looks like the beginning of her transformation from human to MockingJay. Thank you for this beautiful and incredible piece of artwork. The way you did the feathers and the makeup around to look kinda like that was beginning to transform to it's amazing. you should do a bigger transformation. Like whole body or just a arm, leg, or something like that for your next photo. Because this is fantastic and wonderful and I wish I had thought of it. But awesome and legit job though. How long did this take? Hours maybe?

This is absolutely wonderful. It really sums up the mockingjay, if that makes any sense.
The feathers you used look like they could have come straight from a mockingjay, and I like how they are fluffier at the bottom. I'm impressed that you were able to reflect the pattern of the feathers on to your eyelashes and the white tips make your blue eyes really striking. The blend of the colours of your eyeshadows is perfect and there are no streaky lines between the colours. The glitter around the rust/orange coloured flame idea makes the look even more 3D as it appears to look like a flickerig flame. Perfect for the girl on fire.
This is a beautiful piece, well done.

I have to say that this shot is very beautiful. I like how the feathers around the eyes look and the make up of the eyes too. I love your beautiful blue color eyes. They look wonderful and left such a big impression on me, and probably everyone else too. No wonder that this photo is on the front page. I really love how the make up looks detailed but yet very charming. The glitters look crowded together, but that's what makes it wonderful. I also like how you color your eyelashes, that's the first time I've ever seen someone done that, and I'm amused by it. For originality, I'm sorry but I would have to give you a 3 stars. Why? Because there's been a LOT of people who did these kind of eye-photography. However I do love yours more.

Wow, I am absolutely IN LOVE with this photo, as the make-up is extraordinary! You created an impact that takes too many words to describe, as you just took my breath away with the mocking jay!
I absolutely adore the feathers, they're the perfect touch to add to the mocking jay-style make up! I think that the glitter/sparkles added more flare... but as we all know from the book, this somewhat enhances the overall look and the 'fire+ bird look'
Your technique for creating this is stunning, with the gold eyeliner and eyeshadow, feathers, white mascara and the sparkles.
I encourage you to keep up the stellar work, and overall, I rate this 100000000/5 stars! Good job!

Oh wow! You did an absolutely incredible job with this, I can see Katniss wearing make-up like this to lead the rebellion. This is very much the style I'd expect from the books and it definately looks intense as well as beautifully feminine.
Love your use of orange and white, and the eye lashes look so cool! The glitter is well placed, no to gaudy but definately bold and you compliment the colors of the feathers nicely with the use of the brighter colors around the eye.
In the end, all I can say is excellant work. You should be hired to do the make-up for the movie, because this is completely fabulous!

I love what you did with this! The feathers are verynice and the gold and glitter are nicely accented but not too much. The only thing that struck me as a little out of place was the blue on the lashes, but it wasn't something that hit me. It actually looks super awesome at first, it was just something I noticed when I looked.
However, if it weren't there then the blue eye also wouldn't fit. Very nice job on the color, and I love the theme as the mockingjay is one of my favorite things abou the Hunger Games Trilogy! I VOLUNTEER!!
The only reason why I put four and a half stars on "Technique" was because the dots and sparkles seemed a little too scattered for my taste. That might be just me, though...

I have never seen anything like this done before until now, which amazes me. This idea is so spontaneous it takes a real genius to think of it, and then to piece it together? Let's just say I could NEVER even attempt to do something like this. It'd just end up like mud on my face. xD
