Description
Done using this color palette:
Harvest-2
Illustrei doesn't stay too far from the familiar crisp cold of the stream, only choosing to stop their daily swim to rest amidst the bushes in the forest surrounding the waterway. As fall started creeping in, the leaves all starting their familiar orange color, falling from the trees onto the browning grass. One night, as Illustrei was leaving their stream to rest, a swarm of lights (Bugs? Flies? Illustrei thought) attracted their attention. Compelled by some strange force, the esk followed them through the forest, leaving the stream quite far behind.
Illustrei doesn't know where they are now, but for some reason they trust in the strange lights. Before they knew, they stumbled upon some sort... torch? No, a crystal-shaped light - as they approached, it seemed to shiver and expand. Without much reason, Illustrei stepped forward, embraced by the lights and suddenly feeling much lighter than before. This esk's journey through these strange gates has just begun...
This was a fun little challenge to start the Harvest Lights event off with! I started drawing with pixel art and that medium is very palette focused so this was like a nice call back to my roots with the 5 color palette.
