Description
Hong Kongese Chinooks were first used in late 2000 with 2 CH-47Ds in service. In 2006, Hong Kong announced to purchase a total of 20 CH-47Fs, but was later reduce to 12 due to maintenance cost. The first CH-47Fs were delivered in 2010 and with its completion, they were deployed by the Royal Hong Kong Air Force in 2013.
