It takes time for an author to write a book. You see how Rick made the House of Hades so humorous? That took time. He only just started on The Blood of Olympus, and it will take until next October until it's ready.

Yes. Every year the next Percy Jackson/Kane Chronicles/Norse Mythology series come out in the same month, such as every Heroes of Olympus book came out sometime in October.

Me too! My dad started the tradition that he would read all the Rick Riordan books to me and my sister out loud when I was too little to read them for hours by myself, but if I was allowed to read them by myself I'd stay up all night until it was done!

Awesome!! I got into reading the books when I went to the Tim Horton's summer camp. I had to choose a book to read, so I choseThe Lost Hero. I also brought with me what I thought was the second book, which was actually the Sea of Monsters . After I read The Lost Hero I had no understanding of it. I realized I read the first book of the second series, so I began reading the first series in order for the rest of the summer. I found out the was being released that fall, so I waited and got the book. I soon evolved into the Percy Jackson fan I am today. That was all in 2011, I think. I'm 14 right now, and I was in between 6th grade and 7th grade. Everyone knows me as the "Crazy Percy Jackson Girl". Haha.

I actually only listened to the first book because my dad really wanted to read it too me, and I was totally sure I was going to hate it - then, of course, I got hooked on the first line. People call me the crazy Percy Jackson girl too!!! (but I'm 16)
