Description
Drew this as an assignment for my art class - breaking in the colored pencils. Trust me, those sunbeams don't look nearly so icky in person. My scanner did something horrible.Related content

Hmm, I seem to recall this "ikky" thing you describe happening, I'm not sure how I fixed it, but nowadays I play a thick, opaque piece of cardstock behind everything I scan, and either drape heavy cloth over the scanner, or turn off all other lights to prevent light-bleed into the scanner through the edges. I know some scanners have that semi-reflective coating on the bottom of the lid that causes wierd light scattering between the paper and the glass(that's what I use the cardstock to prevent).

This looks great. I really like the pose and angle. The shading on the tail and hair is great, but the sunlight looks a bit rough.

<.< Just making sure, not so much for you as for other people...you know how some tend to purposely take the most "extreme" meaning of things when there's an issue of possible multiple meanings of something.
