FINALLY! This drawing took forever to do and it really frustrated me. I had to redo the sketch five or six times because something kept going wrong with them. Either it was arm position or hand size, or the braids...but I got the sketch done at last.

This was a lot of work since there were so many things I had never tried to draw before in it. The hands gave me hell since I've never tried to drawn hands that were grasping something before. I went through books to find references, and practiced for several hours with that position but I kept making them too small at first. I'd also never tried to draw braids or a basket before. I tried using the old, cheap, Easter basket I had from last year as a model. I hope I got them at least looking at least a little like they're suppose to.

Anyway, this is my entry for the contest at . It's Sara, from my story Unexpected, Ptolemy's sort-of girlfriend. She already had spring like coloring so I though she would be the best fit for the contest. Irene was another possibility, but I've already drawn her a bunch of times and I've been meaning to drawn Sara anyway. I tried to make a background for this, since I wanted a very spring, outdoorsy feel to it.
