YAYERZ! A new deviation. 8D Behold, I was able to submit another dev in less than a month! WOOT!!!
Oh yeah and...
This is a tablet-color-PS-Painter-practice thingy. I would very much love to receive constructive criticism. But don't mind the hair, I got lazy so I didn't fix it.

This girl is an OC of mine back in 6th grade. If you can notice the...erm...ensemble...it's very 6th grade-ish. D: Her name is "Tamamiko 「玉巫女」", which means...um...stone...er...gem...maiden...something. O.o
Never you mind her name! >.>
So yeah. She is mah OC. Indeedy. I copied her clothes off from my old notebook in which I doodled her on.
So she's mine. D: This isn't fanart.

looks pretty good. might want to think about using more than one shade for shadows though when you add them to cloth. at least three will make the dimensions stand out a lot better. she really does look good though.. just please STOP BEING LAZY...when I get my new pieces up you'll see why I say that....

its no problem and yes tiny little dots its a technique for pen and ink called stipling (sp?) works great for shadows and the like but its a pain in the arse takes me 2-4 hours per drawing but the results are well worth it
and yes at least three - the main color one shadow and a highlight check most good quality anime or manga and you find a minimum of three colors...I know that seems like a lot but really it makes the difference in the end....kind of funny how that works

Wow, that's very nice. It is a bit 6th gradeish (particularly the gemstone in the middle connecting the upper and lower parts of the outfit), but that's not a bad thing - 12 isn't too young to design a good character, after all. Actually, I'd say that's around the age a person starts to have just as much in common with their future adult self as they do their kid self. Maybe. There might be an imbalance still, I haven't given it much thought. Anyway. elazarah said that Tama was featured in one manga of yours, so it would be interesting to see scans of the original story sometime (if it still exists, which it would be sad if it didn't - things like that from childhood, or any time period for that matter, should be kept around).
Also, she's pretty hot. That's always a good thing. I will now rank your female characters based on looks alone, just because I feel like it.

No, that's not what I meant. What I was trying to say was that I can often relate to the way my 12-year old self thought and felt - looking through some of the stories I wrote in 2000, I can see some of my current writing and some of my current self reflected in them. I can't say the same for anything earlier than that. So, the fact that you designed her in 6th grade doesn't really matter that much as far as quality is concerned because it's not that young. Yeah.
Nah, I'm saying that because she looks the best. XD She's really hot in Pose and Flex, Hangers.
And I know it's okay. I was just saying stuff. I'm sure comments can be helpful without nitpicking the smallest of details (which is what "constructive criticism" usually amounts to).

You spelled it correctly. Silhouette's a tricky word, I've gotten it wrong more than I've gotten it right. And nope, this is the first I've heard of that. She tries to keep me in the dark about the story. That sounds very cool, though. That detail makes me want to read 運命の糸 even more.
