My heart jumped looking at this, one of the most adorable things ever! Korrasami is the greatest and most thoughtful ships I've ever seen, it has warmed my heart when I first realized their ship is canon.

Korra's look goes from sad and depressed to relieved and happy, like: "This is the closest i can ever be from her"

This was so sweet and touching! And I could definitely see this as a thing that happened sometime between the second and third acts of 'Venom of the Red Lotus' during those two weeks in the immediate aftermath of Korra's trauma. It's a small gesture, but so incredibly thoughtful, and it's the kind of thing that I could see someone doing for someone they care for, and it's the kind of gesture that could make the recipient come to realize their feelings. It's such a perfect moment that could have been taken straight from the show's universe, and I love every bit of this scene you have brought to life for us.
