i never do eye strain art idk i thought it looked cool. sometimes its fun to burn ur retinas

ALSO I KNOW...omocat got some drama but ive lookded into and i feel a lot of it...is...either dumb stuff they said as a kid, ableism, misconstrued, flat out jealousy, like idk i know the kickstarter took a long time which i get was frustrating but I THINK it was worth it. or its like you can have valid criticism to a game and not personally like someone u dont gotta cancel them ok.... i saw a lot of ppl say they were racefaking or mental illness faking but its like ik personally the racefaking wasnt true because i saw them at sakuracon, and also people arent obligated to prove personal shit like that online?idk? like there are people who literally are out here doing much worse shit than making earthbound inspired depression rpgs and being annoying online as a teenager.....? like dont get me wrong I think cancel culture is rly complicated and doesnt do its job most of the time (cough projared or pewdiepie) but damn some of u in the art community are so fucking vile and competitive and borderline puritan. some of u. okay. and i feel its only getting worse lmfao social media really brings out the worst of people.

i can think of a few artists who have made mistakes and rightfully called out but i feel like its always the people who are actually receptive to their criticisms that get fucked over the most because it seems that everytime it happens people start running out of actual problematic shit so it boils down to mild friend drama, saying they are lying about race/age/trauma/etc, and its like oh my god u can just say they were kind of annoying and go. u can do that. i try to take stuff like this seriously but its honestly heartbreaking to see how far some people will go to ruin one persons life? over like? being cringe and calling themselves a fujo age 14? like ok but have u considered people actually change from ages 14 to 20.... and even beyond that ?

i get it fucking sucks engagements is garbage + algorithim is le cruel but my gosh that doesnt mean u can fucking be rude to other popular artists about it for getting lucky + garnering an audience
